How do sites like Screwattack and RoosterTeeth make money?

Question by dudleks: How do internet sites like Screwattack and RoosterTeeth make income?
They evaluation video games, make movies with copyrighted material, they get totally free games from publishers to evaluation. Don’t get me wrong. They are amazing. I just do not see adequate money to sustain a site like that from let’s say, youtube partnerships or ads on their sites. Also, do they get permission to use footage from games, so that they can monetize them?

Anyway, I hope I can get some serious answers.

Those critiques are more than probably paid advertisements. They are internet sites that are created to display their advertisers wares, which in this case are video games. Just simply because they do not appear like ads, does not mean that they weren’t paid for.

Rooster Teeth and ScrewAttack both sell stuff on “store” pages at their internet site, so they make some income that way. Obviously, I don’t know how considerably they make, but not all web sites like this are intended to make a lot of money. Many men and women set up Net pages just to air their own views about very good and poor products. They are not in it for the income — or at least not mainly for the cash. The want to be players, and having a Internet web site that gets visitors and sticks in people’s minds is one way to feel like you are having am impact.

This could not be about Indianapolis companies, but I hope this assists.
